The farm is located only 30 km from Hosea Kutako International Airport and is situated in the midst of an idyllic landscape dominated by African bush savannah, dry rivers, hills and mountains.
Hosts offer four comfortable guest rooms with a separate bathroom and a suite in the main building. Another two guest rooms are found in a separate bungalow close to the farm's pool. Breathtaking views onto the Olifants River can be enjoyed from the veranda.
Hosts pride ourselves in accommodating only a few guests at a time. This affords you the privilege of enjoying a personal attention.
Apart from cattle farming, the farm is home to a wide variety of game such as oryx, kudu, zebra, hartebeest, steenbok, cheetah and leopard. Bird watching and game viewing in the midst of the African bush is a true adventure, making for fond memories.

* Stargazing with the opportunity to marvel at the grand starry skies of the southern hemisphere. Visible to the naked eye are the periods of the planets within our solar system. Constellations such as Orion and the Seven Sisters (Pleyaden) are clearly visible.
Your relaxing stay is only to be interrupted by a refreshing splash in our farm pool, a dazzling game drive or sundowners in the wilderness.
At Hohewarte hosts offer travellers the opportunity to park their car in our outbuildings for an extended period of time, sheltered from the sun, wind and rain. The buildings are spacious enough to accommodate 23 4x4 vehicles including roof carriers and roof tents. There is also a sedan carport.
Hosts provide the service of washing your car, pumping the tyres and recharging the battery before you collect it. On top of that an extensive maintenance service including batteries, custom-built parts, spare parts and overall service can be requested.
