Location of Heimat: Farm Heimat is situated at the end of road D1471. About 130 km south-east of Windhoek and 90 km from the International Airport on the outskirts of the Kalahari.
We are not a guest farm yet we look forward to interested people who visit us.

We are also not a hunting farm but you can go with your camera on the hunt for the perfect picture, and you can find peace, relaxation and find completely new impressions.

Heimat is also not a wild farm yet kudu, oryx, warthog, and springbok, ostriches and great bird life do not just stop before our farm gates.

But should you be interested in a traditional, agricultural and real farm then you are exactly right with us. We have a normal farm operation with cattle, goats, sheep and everything else that goes with it. Let us spoil you with home-made jams, bread, eggs, cottage cheese and smoked meat and some fresh vegetables from our small garden. We serve organic meat from our own farm. At meals we take the time to talk with you about the country and people. Experience all the ups and downs that brings an operation of this magnitude every day with it. The amazing / breath-taking expanses, the absolute silence and the Namibian sun leave the hustle and bustle of the city behind you, and you might even get the feeling to not just be a wheel in a big machine.

How to find Heimat:
Turn left onto the B6, 3 km from Windhoek / Airport towards Nina, then after 67 km turn right into 1471, then 19 km straight ahead.

Staff can arrange a shuttle service to Windhoek International Airport.
