One of the newest establishments in Sossusvlei area of Namib-Naukluft National Park is eco-friendly The Dead Valley Lodge, located between Sesriem and Elim Dune on road D826. Dead Valley offers twenty air-conditioned luxury tented chalets with a panoramic views of ancient Namib Desert. A camping option is available at Sesriem Oshana Camp.

Each unit has private patio, a kitchenette, double bed, electric plugs and freestanding bathroom stocked with toiletries. Guests enjoy endless views of rugged mountains, desert plains and huge red sand dunes.

Dead Valley Lodge restaurant serves delicious Namibian cuisine dishes, the lodge's view bar is inviting to relax after a long day of exploring. There is open air swimming pool overlooking famous Elim Dune.

Sossusvlei and Sesriem Canyons morning/afternoon game drives are also on offer. Hot air balloon tours depart from Sesriem.
