Location of Naukluft Camp (KudusRus Camp)

The camp is located in the Naukluft section of the Namib-Naukluft National Park, the largest game park in Africa, famous for its towering sand dunes, endless savanna plains and majestic mountains. Naukluft Mountain Zebra Park was established in 1964 with the accrual of farm Naukluft as a sanctuary for Hartmann's zebra population (endemic to Namibia).

Most of the farm surrounding Naukluft Mountains massif were purchased by back in 1970. In 1979 the area known as Diamond Area 2 (south of Kuiseb River, including Sesriem and Sossusvlei) was added to form Namib Naukluft Park. The Naukluft’s cliffs host prolific bird life, including Black eagles.

The Naukluft Camp is situated near Naukluft River and area is rich in various wildlife as well as in geological wonders and rocky formations. A solo dolomite rock also known as a Gritty Dolomite can be found nearby.

Accommodation at The Naukluft Camp

6 x en-suite chalets (single or double)
21 x camping sites with basic facilities (a braai/barbeque area, tap, some sites have a concrete picnic table)
Communal washing block: showers, flushing toilets, washing basins
