The Otjivero Dam is located on the White Nossob River in the Nossob catchment in Namibia.

The Otjivero Dam consists of a main and a silt trap dam. There is a purification water treatment plant at the dam to supply Omitara village and a treatment plant at Gobabis connected by 110 km-long pipeline. Otjivero Dam has a full supply level of 1,575.5 m. The dead storage and bottom of the reservoir level: 1,561.15 m. Otjivero Dam supplies water to Gobabis town and Omitara village in conjunction with the Daan Viljoen and Tilda Viljoen dams.

The Otjivero, Daan and Tilda Viljoen (Gobabis) dams operate as a subsystem, known as the Molopo subsystem. The operating rule for this subsystem allows the dams to supply the demands imposed upon them until the dams reach their respective minimum operating levels. Water is normally transferred from Otjivero silt to Otjivero main. Otjivero water is normally used first for topping up Tilda Viljoen Dam.
