Achab Camp is located at the foot of the Gamgamichab mountains, only 9 km south of Usakos on the D1914 road. Situated 50 km from the Spitzkoppe Mountain and 25 km from Anib Ranch.

Achab Camp has been set aside as a private initiative for conservation of various fauna and flora, including the mountain zebra (Burchell's), leopard, endemic bird species e.g. Herero Chat, as well as Quiver and Moringa trees.

Located 150 km from Swakopmund and 200 km from Windhoek it is the ideal place to get away from it all. Achab offers luxury camping sites, scenic views, hiking trails, various natural rock pools and harbors a variety of free roaming game including Hartman zebra and leopard, as well as a rich diversity of bird species.

Achab Camp is located on the D1914 (en route to Wustenquell Guest Farm). When travelling from Swakopmund direction, turn right at the T-junction at old train station in Usakos. Turn right immediately after the train bridge. Keep on gravel road for 9.5km. On your left you will find sign posts Achab. Continue through the iron gate for 1,2 km and follow the directions to the camping sites. GPS coordinates at turn off from gravel road: 22 04 23.6 S;15 32 27,9 E.
