Kambaku Safari Lodge Otjiwarongo |
Kambaku Safari Lodge is situated on the 7600 hectare Okariuputa game farm, only 25 km north of the Waterberg Nature Reserve. This is an area covered with big thorn bushes and Omborumbonga trees. Located among beautiful shady trees and green grass the lodge was built from natural materials, linking it to its natural surroundings. The sparking blue pool invites you to take a plunge or just to enjoy the sun. When the sun goes down, long drinks sooth our throats, and the Evening Star appears to announce nightfall. Dinner is served on the veranda at end of the day in the traditional way only our kitchen can provide. For cold evenings an inside fireplace will keep you warm and a bar as well as a small library are at your service. As it is now time for dreamland, there are ten double rooms fitted in luxurious African style to provide you with all the comforts you need after a long day.
The Kambaku Wild Farm is only available to the animals living wild in Namibia and has no commercial breeding program. This means that the wild animals have plenty of space in which to live and that overgrazing and competition for food are avoided. The responsible handling of some of nature's most sensitive creatures is the focus of all activities at Kambaku. In 76 square kilometers of untouched bush and savannah you will find an oasis of calm where you, your family and friends can enjoy the opportunity to witness the sights and sounds of Africa, an adventure for those who are looking to leave behind the hectic lifestyle of the "modern world" for a time at least.
