Otjiwa Safari Lodge |
Set amidst the
unspoilt beauty of Namibia’s oldest game farm near garden town of
Otjiwarongo in Namibia, Otjiwa Safari Lodge is the
ultimate holiday destination for those in search of an authentic African
experience that meets the very best in international tourism standards. True
Namibian hospitality and personal service go without saying.
The ranch is a veritable treasure trove of African wildlife and boasts a
variety of some 25 game species that freely roam its 12 000ha expanse of
bushveld. Amongst these is one of the country’s largest herds of sable
antelope, the precious white rhinoceros, roan antelope, as well as big herds
of plains game. Renowned for its beautiful dams, Otjiwa is also home to rich
bird life, amongst which the majestic African fish eagle.

For visitors who wish to explore the surrounds, Otjiwa’s central location
provides its guests with the perfect base from which day trips can be
undertaken to the famous Etosha National Park, the Waterberg Plateau nature
conservancy, a cheetah conservation sanctuary, dinosaur tracks (also known as
‘spoor’) and, of course, the Namibian capital, Windhoek.

sleeper-decorated, open-plan kitchen provides everything one needs to whip up
a feast. Alternatively, guests may enjoy making use of the outdoor, open

site
Nestling beneath a canopy of acacia trees, the Otjiwa campsite is the ideal
spot to get away from it all. The site is situated next to a beautiful river
bed and to ensure an authentic African camping experience, no electricity is
available!
Three well-kept and spacious camping areas – all of which are ideal for larger
groups or families – have their own fireplaces and washing areas. The sites
are covered in clean river sand and a well-planned ablution area provides
separate facilities for men and women.
Seven smaller, more private camp sites each offer their own fireplace and water
supplies, as well as a smaller ablution area.
And rest assured, there is no need for off-road vehicles – all Otjiwa’s
camp sites are easily accessible by regular vehicle.
