The NamibRand Family Hideout is a recently rejuvenated old farmhouse, situated on the NamibRand Nature Reserve on the farm Stellarine. It lies about 5 hours' drive south-west of Windhoek, and about 110 km south of Sossusvlei, Namibia, accessible in a normal 2x4 vehicle. Drive either via Maltahöhe or Sesriem to the D826/C27, then take the Tok Tokkie Trails turn-off (400m north of the intersection with the D827) and drive 11 km.
