Dizhana Camp, Moremi Game Reserve

Camp Dizhana was reopened in 2017 in Botswana, offering river bank camping sites, private, shaded. Running water is available and each site has en-suite ablutions (thatched outdoor shower huts). Hot water is provided by a "donkey" boiler system. There are a separate flushing toilet huts with a view.

The camp is located north-east of Moremi Game Reserve in Botswana. The camp is set in the Mababe Trust community concession area bordering Moremi and Chobe National parks. The area is rich in wildlife and offers excellent game viewing experience. Firewood is purchased from community members.

Dizhana Camp is located about twenty minutes drive from Mababe Village in Botswana, there is also access from Maun. The camp is situated on the Khwai River and offers campers designated open sites under shade, each with its own donkey boiler-powered showers and a private toilet. There is running water and a generator available for power within the camp. Camp Dizhana is recommended for its beautiful setting along Khwai River and helpful staff from Mababe Community Trust.
