Dijara Camp, Moremi Game Reserve

Dijara Camp is located near Mababe Village north-east of Moremi Game Reserve in Botswana on the banks of Kwai River where game sightings are very frequent and common.

The camp has flush toilets and bucket showers at each camp site.

All sixteen camping sites are amply shaded under Kalahari Apple-Leaf trees.

Reception and viewing deck provide opportunities to enjoy game viewing and sundowners with wildlife herds visiting watering points.

Camping sites are large and located directly on the Kwai River banks.

Overnight campers at Dijara Camp are strongly warned not to move around during the night due to ever-presence of hippos and elephants in the area. In general wildife can move freely through the camp. Sightings of crocodiles, hippos, elephants, leopards, antelopes and hyenas are excellent.

Location: 40 km from Moremi Game Reserve North Gate, near Savuti/Moremi roads junction. Easy access from Maun, around 2.5 hours drive.
