African Pride Burning Shore |
The Burning Shore is located at Long Beach,
between coastal towns of
Swakopmund and
Walvis Bay in Namibia. Along the burning shore, the dunes rise like the crested
back of a monstrous Serpent, twisting along the shoreline. Rising against the
misty sky, their restless, Ever changing bulk sculptured by the sea and wind.
The burning sun, the elusive fog banks and vast marine rich Benguela, are all
magically blended by the Forces of nature to create the most contrastingly,
spectacular coast line on Earth.

Rooms: Nestled amidst this ethereal beauty, on the
edge of the largest sand dunes in the world, overlooking the mighty expanse of
the Atlantic Ocean in between Swakopmund and Walvis Airport is the Burning Shore
Beach Lodge. A modern, luxurious establishment, this ocean-side lodge is
located on Long Beach just south of the unique quaint town of Swakopmund.
It offers 7 Luxury Rooms and 5 Luxury Suites, all enjoying private bathroom
facilities.
Facilities: Various day excursions into this magnificent Thirst land can
be arranged on request. These include visits to Sandwich Harbour, Bird Island,
Walvis Bay Lagoon, the Moon landscape, Dune seven, Marine safaris to pelican
Point Seal Colony and dolphin spotting. In addition, horse trails, dune quad
biking, fishing and scenic flights via the Skeleton Coast can also be arranged.

Children policy:
Subject to availability of suitable accommodation, children 12 years and under
(maximum 2) sharing a bedroom with two adults stay and eat breakfast free unless
otherwise indicated on the rates schedule.
Where bedrooms can not accommodate children sharing with adults, 2 rooms need to
be booked in which case the single rate would apply to each room.
Notes: Rates are subject to change without prior notice should tax be increased or Government levies introduced. Rates include Value Added Tax.
