White Sands Camp, previously Ngoabaca, is located at Popa Falls in northern
Namibia's Caprivi Region, a series of beautiful Okavango River water rapids
flowing into Okavango Delta in bordering Botswana. The camp offers the most
magnificent view of famous Popa Falls. Here Kavango and Caprivi regions of
Namibia are divided and separated by Okavango River.
CAMPING AT WHITE SANDS
White Sands Camp offers five camping sites and all are
newly renovated. Emphasis is on entertainment for the whole family and all
camping sites are child-friendly.
Facilities at each (standard and luxury) camp site: braai,
power point, water (warm / cold), bathroom facilities, large trees, planted
grass, privacy and security. Toilets/showers available.
Luxury camp sites: access to a thatched kitchen area and
a deck overlooking Okavango River.
ACTIVITIES AT WHITE SANDS
Activities revolve around Okavango River and include
cultural tours, fishing (fuel, fishing gear and guide inclusive, catch and
release), boat cruises, sunset trips (with snacks and drinks), sundowners and
birdwatching. Transfers are provided from and to Bagani airstrip. Game drives
to Mahangu National Park and
Bwabwata National Park with snacks and drinks included.
WILDLIFE AT WHITE SANDS
Antelopes, crocodile, hippo, and a prolific birdlife.
