Nyangana Village |
Nyangana Village is located in Kavango Region, in the north-east of Namibia. It is 100 km east of town Rundu and named after king of the Gciriku tribe, Nyangana. Local attractions and sites include private Roman Catholic hospital, founded in 1936 by the OSB sisters of Tutzing (the only hospital for the Kavango Region at the time), Combined School, a Youth Center and a hotel. Area's vegetation is acacia trees dominated thorn bush.
