Goba-Goba Rest Camp is a recent development aimed at the self drive, self cater and no frills no fuss market segment, but no compromise was made when it came to quality and comfort. The beautifully furnished rooms make it easy for guests to imagine that they are in a luxury hotel! The Rest Camp is situated 200 meters from the main buildings nestled underneath two big trees. Facilities include communal ablution, dining area and kitchen.
Accommodation consists of:
2 lawned camp sites with electricity, water, braai facility and shaded area
3 Family units (one double bed & two single beds in two rooms)
3 twin units (two single beds in one room)
The rooms open up on a pathway that leads directly to the ablution (15 meters away)
The ablution is neatly tiled and consists of four separate, spacious units each with a shower, toilet, wash basin and bench. This ensures comfort and privacy. The kitchen is fitted with a stove, kettle, fridge and sink and opens up on a dining area with a TV and fire place. It is only ten meters from the rooms. Meals: dinner and lunch are available at the River Restaurant per ala carte menu. Our restaurant is renowned for the art of serving food.
FACILITIES (All guests have access to the lodge facilities)
Fantastic bird watching site! The river offers the best natural habitat bird watching opportunity in the Omaheke Region. A perfectly positioned hide-out with a "birds view" over the water and reeds were constructed.
Hiking. Climb the "klip koppie" behind the lodge and enjoy the variety of rock formations, trees and shrubs and the magnificent view over town.
Mountain Biking. Get on to the towns national mountain bike course right at the gates of the lodge and enjoy the veldt and nature while you complete the 12 - 21 km course (depending on route taken). Or cycle our own shorter version while stropping at the towns dam for a drink.
