own land can be organize.
At Eagles Rock five languages are spoken: Italian, English, German, Portuguese, Afrikaans and - should none of them be of service - the language of the heart. Your hosts Rosanna and Matthias Bleks will go out of their way to make your holiday most enjoyable, unforgettable and the best you aver had. As they put it: "With us you come as a guest and you leave as a friend - Au revoir, mes amis !"
On the farmland of Baumgartsbrunn the Bleks Family introduced a private farm school for the children of native farm workers as early as 1973. Today this project of the Helmut Bleks Foundation consists of a junior secondary school, a clinic, a church, an institute for home science and agriculture and a handicraft village where students learn their skills in weaving, tailoring and leather craft. Students for restaurant services and kitchen are offered practical training and courses at Eagles Rock. Lodge guests are welcome to visit the school project and the village and see for themselves what two decades of dedicated development aid can achieve.
