Monteiro Camp offers visitors the country retreat in the vicinity of Namibian capital not far from famous Heroes Acre monument. Monteiro is located a mere 11 km south of Windhoek just off the B1 tar road and less than 15 minutes drive from the traffic circle to Rehoboth. It lies in a beautiful setting surrounded by nature with wonderful views of nearby Auas Mountains. Opened in 2005, Monteiro offers guests a choice of accommodation: guest rooms, guest house, camping and safari tents.

The self-catering guest rooms are equipped with double bed and two bunk beds in each room. These rooms have full, spacious en-suite amenities with a bath shower in one room and shower only in the other room. Rooms also have fridge, microwave, 2-plate stove/oven, TV and all the equipment needed to enjoy a self-catering stay plus private braai/barbecue facilities.

3 bedrooms house

Offers self-catering accommodation. Includes: three bedrooms, one bathroom, fully equipped kitchen, dining room, lounge, with a private patio and braai (barbecue)  facility outside. Features: private bathroom, double and single beds, bunk beds, extra mattresses on request.

Camp sites

All sites are set on grassy spots and well maintained and cleaned regularly. Each site has electric lights, running water, power points and braai (barbeque) facilities, Firewood can be purchased on arrival. A communal bush kitchen is available as well as hygienic ablution facilities.

Safari tents

Equipped with basic crockery/cutlery and electric kettle, no cooking utensils. Bedding is supplied (no towels), every tent has own braai (barbeque) facility.
