Rustig Toko Lodge, on the farm 'Rustig' close to Kamanjab is the ideal gateway to the north west of Namibia, Damaraland region bordering Kaokoland. After a long, hot day, indulge yourself to a refreshing swim in the pool, from
where you can watch our frolicking ostriches.
Observe
the small variety of animals that visit our floodlit waterhole, or just enjoy
the magical
ambience created by the vast natural backdrop of our unique landscape.
Following an adventurous day we invite you to join us for a sundowner at the
fireplace, where we will pamper your palate with typical African cuisine for
supper and treat your taste buds to some of the finest South-African wines. End
the evening under a starlit sky and listen to the sounds of the night.
A generous breakfast awaits you in the morning, a light lunch at noon and coffee
with biscuits or cake in the afternoon.
Our "Omumborombonga" campsite is named after the holy tree of the
Herero people and offers you three separate camping sites with toilet facilities
and hot showers. Dinner can be pre-booked at the lodge. Firewood is also
available. Our open-vehicle game drives on
this 6000 ha. farm let you experience the abundant beauty of nature. Here you
can see Giraffe, Springbuck, Kudu, Oryx, Warthog, Zebra, Bat eared-Fox and the
rare Aardwolf.

We also show you more about our cattle farming operation. You can go for early morning or late afternoon guided or unguided walking trails along dolomite hills to spot Damara Dik-dik and rock dassies or to identify over 200 bird species, including 3 types of hornbills, especially our logo bird, the endemic Monteiro’s Hornbill and the rare Hartlaub’s Francolin. Our guide will explain to you the different animal tracks and everything about the flora in our environment.

Visit to a Himba kraal in the Opuwo area. Partake in an age-old culture by experiencing the traditional ways of the Himba tribe. Leave early and return to the Lodge in the later afternoon. En route a light lunch will be served. Perfect translation with a professional guide.

Otjovasondu through the western part of the Etosha National Park. Spend the day
game viewing. Overnight at one of the Rest Camps.

This tour in a 4x4 vehicle along the Ombonde dry riverbed takes us in search of the elusive desert elephant. We love and respect these amazing giants and aproach them without disturbing or stressing them in their natural habitat. There is a good chance to also see antelopes such as Kudu, Oryx and Springbok. A light lunch is served under shady trees. Soft drinks are included.

Day 2: Drive towards Oshakati with visits to Nakambale Museum & Craft Market en
route. Overnight at Oshakati Country Lodge.
Day 3: Drive through the King Nahale (Andoni) Gate to the Etosha National Park.
Overnight at Mushara Lodge.
Day 4: Travel through Etosha National Park on the way back to Rustig Toko Lodge.
(8) 6 Days (5 nights) Tour: Epupa - Ovamboland - Etosha
Day 1: After breakfast drive via Opuwo to Epupa Falls (Kunene
River). A light lunch and refreshments will be served en route. Overnight at
Omarunga Camp on a full board basis. (Luxury Camping)
Day 2: Epupa offers various activities such as hiking trails, Himba visit with
traditional dancing, and fantastic photographic opportunities. Overnight at

Day 3: In the morning drive towards Oshakati with a short stop at Ruacana Falls.
Overnight at Oshakati Country Lodge.
Day 4: Spend the day in- and around Oshakati and visit the Nakambale Museum &
Craft Market. Overnight at Oshakati Country Lodge.
Day 5: Drive through the King Nahale (Andoni) Gate to the Etosha National Park.
Overnight at Mushara Lodge.
Day 6: Travel through Etosha National Park on the way back to Rustig Toko Lodge.
