Sefofane was formed in Botswana in 1991. Since inception the main focus has remained on providing an efficient, safe and reliable service to our guests. Our pilots are carefully selected at the outset to ensure we have the right combination of personality and aptitude for our company. After selection they are rigorously trained to ensure that a culture of safety and excellence is perpetuated.
The Sefofane owned and operated fleet consists of approximately twenty aircraft l Cessna 206,s, 210ls and Cessna Caravans. Additionally Sefofane leases a diverse variety of aircraft, Beech King Air 200ls, Pilatus PC12ls and occasionally larger aircraft.

Sefofane is also licensed, registered and operates in Namibia, Zimbabwe and South Africa. Our Offices in Windhoek, Harare and Lanseria airport South Africa, give Sefofane the most widespread foot print of any charter company in Southern Africa. From these offices our fleet of aircraft can be effectively managed for the operations that are conducted in each country.
Sefofane is mainly engaged in servicing the tourist industries in each country, though it is also engaged in flying a lot of corporate and government clients as well. Moving discerning foreign guests between remote locations is a business that we know and understand well. Our aircraft were bought to ensure that our average fleet age is younger than the same aircraft operated by our competitors. Indeed recently Sefofane has bought aircraft directly from the Cessna factory. The aircraft are meticulously maintained to ensure that we are able to deliver a consistent and reliable service.
Sefofane is continually evolving and adapting to meet new challenges. Through all of this we remain focused on our core values: providing our clients with a safe, quality and consistent air charter service.

The Namibian operation is engaged in transporting guests to the principle tourist destinations in Namibia. Namibia is a large country and its key destinations are far apart. This makes air charter an obvious solution for tourism. The key destinations Sefofane services in Namibia are: Sossusvlei, Swakopmund, Damaraland, The Skeleton Coast, Etosha and the Kunene River. Some of these destinations represent the finest wilderness areas Namibia has to offer. The base for operations is in Windhoek. From here all reservations are captured and aircraft scheduled.

Please note: Should the N$ weaken substantially against the US$, these rates will be reviewed and timeous notice will be sent out.

Notes:

Ø These seat rates are based on a minimum of 2 guests travelling together

Ø Sefofane will endeavour to transfer guests from Windhoek International or Eros airports within one hour of their arrival off an incoming scheduled flight.

Ø Guests who have spent the previous night in Windhoek or Swakopmund will be scheduled to depart as soon as it is possible - they will arrive at their destination camp prior to lunch.

Ø Guests will arrive back at Windhoek International or Windhoek Eros at least one hour prior to their onward scheduled flight.

Ø Please use the full air charter rates should the guests' itinerary not allow for use of the seat rates.

Modus Operandi for the above seat rates:
* Sefofane will endeavour to transfer guests from Windhoek International or Eros airports within one hour of their arrival off an incoming scheduled flight.
* Guests who have spent the previous night in Windhoek or Swakopmund will be scheduled to depart as soon as it is possible.
* Guests will arrive back at Windhoek International or Windhoek Eros at least one hour prior to their onward scheduled flight.
* Serra Cafema seat rates only apply on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays - any other flights to Serra Cafema will have to be on a PRIVATE CHARTER basis.

Should a specific departure time be required other than to connect with a scheduled flight or a Wilderness Safaris scheduled Best of Namibia Wing Safari or a Wilderness Safaris Skeleton Coast Safari, then a private charter should be booked, ie. to connect with activities in Swakopmund, the Desert Express etc.
The flights between Swakop and Sossus area are based on Scenic flights.
Airport Departure Tax is excluded from all the above seat rates and must be added

What�s new in 2008?
Serra Cafema will run on certain week days only, namely - Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
All seat rates to and from Serra Cafema are only applicable on these days. The aircraft will depart Windhoek at 09H00 and will arrive back in Windhoek at 16H15. Sefofane will link the inter-camp transfers for Serra Cafema to this aircraft. All guests travelling to Serra Cafema from Windhoek need to ensure that they are in Windhoek before 08H15 and connecting to any international flight out of Windhoek from Serra Cafema is after 18h00. Any requests for Serra Cafema on other week days will have to be reserved on a Private Charter basis.
Please note: No Marine Extravaganza can be included in the same day as a seat rate to Serra Cafema.

Children policy
Children on seat rates. The rates are the same. The only kids which travel for free are children under the age of 2 years old.
