Okatore Lodge is located some 75 kilometres from Windhoek, situated in the rolling hills of the Khomas Hochland to the Northwest of Windhoek. 10500 ha of untamed land surrounds the attractive buildings with their distinctive thatched roofs. The drive from Windhoek leads you through a spectacular mountainous landscape. A multitude of flora is found in this area and more than 30 African species can be seen. Okatore Lodge is perfectly situated to get to know the fauna and flora of the Khomas Hochland. Whether you seek a photo safari, hunting holiday, are simply interested in cattle breeding or enjoying this stunning landscape, then you will find exactly what you are looking for at Okatore.
The Lodge: Upon sighting Okatore you will
immediately be struck by the red roofs of the Ranch-buildings and, on nearing,
the large thatched roof of the restaurant as it sweeps virtually to the
ground. On the adjoining large veranda you will enjoy braai (barbecue)
parties, relax over a sundowner and exchange your adventures with other
guests. A refreshing dip in the swimming pool will wash away the heat of an
exciting day. For the active visitor establishment have a tennis court available. On

place before and after meals. Okatore Lodge is well known for its calm and
