Photo album Khan River Lodge Accommodation Namibia - Central Region

Khan River was originally a cattle farm but was converted to a game farm and tourist destination a few years ago. All internal fences were removed allowing the game to roam freely. For the last 15 years hosts have been building up game stock on our 6 000 ha game farm.
Due to the large game populations and proper game management methods Khan River is now and will remain to be in a position to offer hunters only the top quality trophies in the area. The goal is to offer guests an unforgettable, down-to-earth Namibian experience with a personal touch.

This African hunting lodge offers warm hospitality in true Namibian style and is an ideal overnight stop for the intrepid explorer. Hosts offer a variety of activities for those who prefer to stay longer such as game drives, bird watching, game viewing, target shooting, bow hunting, sun downer koppie drives, guided walks through the bushveld and unforgettable Namibian hunting safaris. You'll have the opportunity to view game species like Kudu, Oryx, Steenbuck, Jackal, Warthog, Blesbuck, Blue and Black Wildebeest, Springbuck, and on occasion Leopard and Cheetah.

Although often referred to as being a desert country, Namibia's central and western part is an arid and semi-arid desert. This however change over the huge areas of fertile Bushland Savanna, especially in the northern areas of the country with the Okavango and Caprivi tribal areas being referred to as semi tropical.

Khan River Lodge offers luxury accommodation and African hunting safaris in true Namibian farm style. The lodge is situated only 2 hours from Windhoek International Airport and between 2 to 3 hours from Swakopmund, Henties Bay and Walvis Bay. Also available are trophy hunting safaris and various other safaris and tours throughout Namibia.
