Zambezi Mubala Lodge (previously Kalizo Lodge) has been taken over and completely rebuilt by Gondwana Namibia. The lodge is set in a beautiful African environment on the banks of the Zambezi River in North Eastern Namibia, 40 km east from northern town Katima Mulilo. Relax and unwind at tranquil surroundings in the primeval wilderness. Fisherman's paradise, the area is the best Tiger and Bream fishing spot. Zambezi Mubala has one of the largest colonies of info@namibweb.commine Bee-eaters, hippos and crocodiles are often seen in the area. More than 430 bird species are recorded along magnificent Zambezi River.

Superb angling opportunities for the 93 species which inhabit Zambezi River waters, are on offer and area is particularly renowned for excellent tiger and bream fishing. Tiger fish between 5-7 kg are common. Well equipped boats as well as rods and fishing tackle are available.

By road:
Accessible by all
vehicles from Windhoek via Rundu to Katima Mulilo, from Johannesburg or
Zimbabwe, via Kasane in Botswana. Ngoma (B8) road to turnoff D3508) 12 km east of Katima
Mulilo or 56 km west of Ngoma border post. Further 20 km, turn left.
