Island Lodge is family B&B situated on tranquil Leisure Island, a 2 minute walk from the water's edge and offers the ideal getaway from the hustle and bustle of city life in Knysna, South Africa. Being well away from the N2 with its 24 hour a day traffic noise, the only noise you should hear on the island is the cry of the Ibis flying overhead. Leisure Island is a bird-watcher's paradise with many different species being spotted in host own garden daily. Establishment welcome children and small pets. Activities on the Island include safe beaches for swimming, wind surfing, canoeing, sailing and angling or just soaking up the sun. There are tennis courts and bowling greens a few minutes walk from the lodge. Alternatively, take a leisurely walk around the island or hire a bicycle. After a busy day, relax around the pool or head out enjoy a sundowner from one of the bars at the heads or in the waterfront.

Pool Area: Why not come and enjoy a swim in the afternoon to cool you down. The pool has loungers and you can enjoy your breakfast around the pool area.
STORM has a queen size bed, integral full bathroom with sunken bath, shower and under floor heating. There is a small patio and private entrance, wooden floor, voile curtains, good linen, wall safe, wall heater, TV and tea/coffee facilities. This room overlooks the pool area and has a romantic ambience. Storms En-Suite Bathroom has is tastefully decorated and finished to give you a relaxed feel while you unwind in the deep bath.
SKY faces the pool area and comprises a queen size bed, private entrance, wooden floor, over the bed mosquito net (for decorative purposes), TV, tea/coffee facilities, wall heater, wall safe, and a full private bathroom.
MIST is at the front of the house and has a white tiled floor, twin beds, en suite shower room, ceiling fan, wall safe, wall heater, tea/coffee facilities, TV, private entrance and small patio.
CLOUD is next to MIST at the front of the house (ideal for parents and children) and has a queen size bed, en suite shower room, ceiling fan, wall safe, wall heater, TV, tea/coffee facilities, private entrance and small patio.
