Gweta Lodge is located in Gweta Village in central Botswana and is just off the main highway, making it a perfect rest stop for travellers going between Maun and Nata (the turnoff point for Kasane to the north and Francistown to the south).

Entrances to both pans are found a few kilometers from Gweta. Fuel and supplies can be found at Gweta village, 45 km west of Makgadikgadi entrance gate.

The public areas include a bar, lounge, pool, open rondavels (one with power outlets for wireless laptop access), an outdoor kitchen, a restaurant, a curio shop, and a boma fire pit.

Comfortable accommodations include two luxury rooms, family rooms for four or more guests, double rooms with en-suite showers, and traditional thatched-roof rondavels. Hosts also have camping facilities and an ablutions block with hot showers and toilets.
