Lesoma
Valley Lodge |
Lesoma Valley has
historically been linked to the valley of the elephants and as there is an
abundance of elephants, legend place
it as the grave yard of elephants.
Lesoma has served as the resting place for Botswana past great chiefs on their
great hunting expeditions. The Village originated from the resting spot of the
Great King Khama in the late 18th Century on his frequent hunting expeditions.
Lesoma has since been known as the Hunting Valley of Khama.
Guests of Lesoma Valley Lodge will get the greatest exposure through guided
game drives, walking trails and tours to the teeming wildlife mostly abundant
in lodge's coverage area. Several wild animals are often in migration through
the Chobe National Park and the Lesoma forests from the Chobe River to the
Zambezi and the national parks of Zimbabwe. One of the greatest advantages of
partnering with Lesoma Valley Lodge is its peculiar and unique location
situated in the plush Lesoma valley forest reserve and village towards the
Botswana border with Zimbabwe where you can experience everything rural,
unspoilt, serene and just all that is beautiful about Africa. The Lodge is
only 20 km on the way to the Kasane Town Centre.
