Accommodation Kratzplatz Luderitz |
Kratzplatz Guest House has been created by the conversion of an old church by the owners, Monica and Manfred Kratz. There are ten en-suite double rooms with TV. Furnishings are modern and simple. BARRELS, a cozy restaurant and bar is on the premises and it's known for its home-cooked meals. Post office, shops, banks and the waterfront shops are all within walking distance from Kratzplatz.
The guesthouse started in 1993 with only
five rooms in one of the oldest buildings in Lüderitz, built in 1900. In 1999
we bought an old church next to our premises and converted it into seven more
rooms and a restaurant and bar.
"Barrels" as the restaurant is called, has since became very popular as a "gettogether"
place for both tourists and local people.

Here everybody has a great time every
evening after a tasty dinner, when we exchange holiday stories, sometimes play
the piano and guitar and have "sing-a-longs" in the pub.

bright red. In this gem of a guesthouse the charms of Lüderitz's architecture
and people have been combined.
Monica and Manfred Kratz have succeeded in transforming one of the historical
buildings dating back to 1911 into a cosy accommodation establishment where
beauty and friendliness are priorities.

of the place and the friendliness of the people.
The trips around Lüderitz by car and boat as well as tours to
Kolmanskop, Bogenfels, can be arranged on request.
