River Dance Lodge is located on the banks of the mighty Okavango River in the North East of Namibia. Directly across the river and a mere 100 meters away lies Angola. To your east the Caprivi region awaits. River Dance is owner managed and is fortunately unaffected by seasonal flooding. Exclusivity and privacy is guaranteed as the only other lodge close by is situated after Divundu, with only a camp site further upstream. A wrap-around deck will lead to the waterside where morning and afternoon tea's can be enjoyed.

Accommodation at River Dance Lodge

The lodge comprises of stunning architecturally designed glass and wooden spacious units. Inspiration was drawn from birds' nests and each unit is safely tucked between the trees and is totally private and secluded. Three of lodge's units has its own standalone bathroom fitted with both a bath and shower, private deck and luxurious amenities.
Two of lodge's units are fitted with an inter-leading door, en-suite bathroom and a stunning deck leading to your own fire pit at the water side. A full Environmental Impact Assessment was conducted and Management Plan was introduced to ensure that the least impact to the environment is made.
Each unit consists of 2, three quarters beds with a converter option, a desk area, the finest handmade Namibian linen and a private deck.
Each bathroom is spacious, with a 'mokoro' (traditional boat) inspired bath, plush towels and bathrobes.
The room and bath units are connected with wooden floors.

Camping at River Dance Lodge

Lodge's camp sites are each very spacious with private access to the river. Each has its own bathroom fitted with a shower, basin and toilet. Adjacent to the bathroom campers will find their own area with washing basin, portable barbeque and electricity supply. A deck will ensure that camping and self-drive guests gain their own access to the river. Visit lodge's pizza oven for a take away or restaurant.
