From the Port Elizabeth Airport: As you exit the airport building,
turn left into Allistair Millar Drive. At the traffic light intersection,
turn right into Heugh Road. Continue down Heugh Road until you see the
harbour and the sea directly in front of you. At the main traffic light
intersection at the bottom of Walmer Boulevard (Heugh Road) turn left,
taking the highway which is on the seaward side. Continue along the highway,
which will take you onto the N2 in the direction of Grahamstown. Travel
along the N2 in the direction of Grahamstown for 105 km. Take the Alicedale
turnoff towards the left and follow the signs to Pumba Private Game Reserve.
From Port Elizabeth: Travel along the N2 in the direction of

the signs to Pumba Private Game Reserve.
From Grahamstown (N2 Sunshine Coast / Durban): Travel along the N2 in
the direction of Port Elizabeth for 20 km. Take the Alidale turnoff towards
the right and follow the signs to Pumba Private Game Reserve.
The luxurious lodge at Pumba Private Game Reserve comprises 12
stone-walled, thatched, waterfront cottages:
- 2 suites - 1 x 1-bedroom and 1 x 2-bedroom
- 2 cottages have a 4-poster king-size bed and double sleeper couch
- 1 honeymoon cottage, with a 4-poster king-size bed and bath in bedroom
- 1 honeymoon cottage, with a king-size bed and bath in bedroom
- 6 cottages have a king-size/twin zipper-bed (can be made into either)
- 1 x 2-bedroom suite with a king-size/twin zipper-bed (can be made into
either)
- Leading off meandering timber footpaths, the cottages open up onto private
tiber game-viewing decks with outside showers and plunge pools. The bedrooms
and bathrooms offer under floor heating, dreamy, free-standing bathtubs,
double basins, terry-towel bathrobes and splendid appointments to create an
ambience of luxurious indulgence. Air-conditioning, earthenware fireplaces
and fine linen ensure your absolute comfort.
In-room facilities include: Air-conditioning and heating, Fireplace,
Tea/coffee making facilities, Mini-bar fridge binoculars, bird and animal
books
telephone, alarm clock, mini electronic safe, separate bath and shower, with
heated towel rails and twin vanities, private game-viewing deck

Facilities at Pumba Private Game Reserve include: A thatched
restaurant, from where meals can be served in a variety of locations -
central dining room, main decks or boma. Private candlelit dinners can be
arranged on request. Cocktail Bush bar, at the lodge and day centre, fully
stocked with a range of local and international drinks. All local beers,
ciders, soft drinks and house wines are complimentary and GUESTS can browse
through our vintage wine cellar
