FULL DAY TOUR OR CAMPING SAFARI : OMBONDE/KHOWARIB

Is it your dream to become one with nature? Then it is a must that you visit the Ombonde, surely one of Namibia's most beautiful dry rivers not far from us. White sand, huge lead wood trees and mopani trees, amazing valleys - an adventure pure! Here you have a good chance to share the peace and tranquility with the Ondjamba, the majestic desert elephant, as well as game such as Eland, Kudu, Oryx, Springbok and Ostriches. Our full day tour with a 4x4 vehicle takes us slowly down the river bed until we enjoy a light lunch under shady trees. Then we go back the same route - you always see something new again. Or we overnight under big trees and enjoy a camp fire in the bush. Now we have more time for walks or game drives. We are fully equipped with tents, beds and other equipment. We return to the lodge in the afternoon. With two overnights we can include a trip to the spectacular Khowaribschlucht canyon. Here in the midst of a beautiful valley you can enjoy a swim in rapids and clear rock pools. One overnight before and after at Toko Lodge would be necessary.

Included in price: 4x4 vehicle and tour guide, complete camping equipment, meals as applicable, refreshments, beer and wine (except on day tour), 15% VAT.
Excluded: Drinks on full day tour, expenses of a personal nature, accommodation at Toko Lodge.

CAMPING SAFARIS : KAOKOLAND AND DAMARALAND

As Dieter knows the Kaokoland and Damaraland well, he can take your partly on roads and tracks that are far from the tourist routes and not shown on the normal road maps of this area. You can hence enjoy in peace some of the most remote and beautiful parts of this north-western region of Namibia. Long years of theoretical and practical experience about the behaviour of the desert elephant will enable you to see these magnificent animals and to learn a lot about them. We tailor make itineraries according to your wishes and time available.

Included in price: 4x4 vehicle and tour guide, complete camping equipment, three meals per day, refreshments, beer and wine, gin and tonic, camping fees where applicable.
Excluded: 15% VAT, expenses of a personal nature.

We also offer camping and lodging safaris to Botswana ( Okavango delta, Moremi, Savute, Chobe ) and Zimbabwe ( Victoria Falls, Kariba Lake, Hwange game park). Quotations are on request.
