Description: Etosha National Park is home to large herds of game that can easily be spotted on game drives and at the magical waterholes scattered throughout the park. In the heat of the day we can relax at the camps' swimming pools and in the late afternoon watch animals at the camps' waterholes. From here we go to the Cheetah Park where we can get close to some tame cheetah and spend a couple of nights in Swakopmund on the Atlantic coast to take part in the many optional activities on offer. We then cross the arid but breathtakingly beautiful Namib Desert to explore the highest sand dunes in the world at Sossusvlei.

09 Days Livingstone to Livingstone

Chobe & Northern Delta

Description: Livingstone is the lively town on the Zambian side of the mighty Victoria Falls which we explore in the Mosi-oa-Tunya ('smoke that thunders') National Park. It's also the destination for a number of exciting optional adventure activities on and around the Zambezi such as walking with lions, bungee jumping and elephant riding. From here we head into Botswana and explore Chobe National Park by boat and game drive, and the Chobe River is the perfect vantage point to watch large herds of elephant. We access the northern reaches of the Okavango Delta from Namibia's Caprivi Strip, where we explore the watery lagoons and tranquil palm-fringed islands by mokoro (dug-out canoe).

Kruger & Swaziland Meander

Description: We begin this trip with an informative visit to Pretoria's Voortrekker Monument which is dedicated to South Africa's 'Great Trek' when early settlers made the arduous journey into the interior from the Cape. Then we head to what is dubbed the Panorama region of South Africa thanks to the tumbling waterfalls, rolling hills, quaint old gold mining villages and the dramatic Blyde River Canyon. The next three nights are spent at a camp on the Sabi River, from where we go for guided game drives with experienced rangers into the Greater Kruger National Park. Then in the tiny Kingdom of Swaziland we stay in an acclaimed wildlife sanctuary where there is the opportunity to explore the bush on foot, by mountain bike or on horseback, before spending a final night back in The City of Gold.

17 Day Nairobi to Dar Es Salaam

Description: Beginning in Kenya's lively capital, we begin this trip with one of the world's best know train journeys from Nairobi to Mombasa, which travels through Tsavo National Park. Once in Mombasa we have a few days to relax on the dazzling beaches, which have white sand and palm trees fringing an azure Indian Ocean. Then we head south into Tanzania and East Africa's best known game parks. 25 Day Dar Es Salaam to Victoria Falls

African Journey

Description: We begin this trip by taking a ferry to the exotic island of Zanzibar and spend some time on the gorgeous palm-backed beaches and exploring the intriguing alleyways of Stone Town. Then we board a train and head south through remote villages in scenic rural southern Tanzania. In Malawi, we spend a few days exploring the tranquil beaches and islands and enjoy some tremendous sunsets over the lake. From Nkhata Bay we take a ferry to the little-visited extreme south of the lake and then, via Malawi's capital of Lilongwe cross into Zambia. South Luangwa National Park is well known for its high concentration of elephant and leopard and crocodile and hippo live in the wide and scenic Luangwa River. We pass through Zambia's lively capital of Lusaka and end the trip at the impressive Victoria Falls where the Zambezi River tips 100 metres into the Batoka Gorge. There are many optional adventure activities on offer here, including white water rafting, bungee jumping and elephant riding.

35 Day Nairobi to Victoria Falls
